Live Location Sound

My experience in live location sound is still developing, but it has given me practical involvement across documentary, factual, educational, and commissioned filmed work. In most of these projects, I was responsible for recording production sound on location using a boom microphone and Tascam recorder, with a focus on capturing clean, usable dialogue in real-world shooting environments. On selected projects I also contributed to additional sound editing, mixing, and studio overdubbing.

Experience highlights
• Sound recordist on PR Rap Unwrapped, with additional sound edit and mix support alongside Daniel Squires.
• Sound recording on NHS commissions, including conferences and maternity information videos.
• Sound recording on Avital Raz’s Unnatural Cycles, filmed at UCLan’s Media Factory TV studio and Overleigh House.
• Sound recording on McKee College projects, with additional overdubbing work at Soundskills Studio.
• Sound recording on NHS Information Videos for maternity ward use.
